How many students attend flvs

Students who are currently enrolled in Florida Virtual School and have relocated outside the state of Florida can continue their courses through Global School. They will be able to keep their course progress, but will be assigned a new teacher. To start the transfer process, please contact us directly by phone Option 4 or email globalschool flvs.

How can I get a high school diploma? Global School does not offer a high school diploma. You are still able to take Global School courses and use them towards graduation as long as your diploma granting institution or local school accepts Global School transcripts. Please consult with them first in order to determine if they will accept our courses for credit before enrolling. You can be active in up to 6 courses segments at a time.

When are instructors available? Instructors are available Monday — Friday from 8 A. Emails and phone calls will be returned within 24 hours. Assignments will be graded within 48 hours. Global Elementary students will enjoy Class Time activities with their teacher and other students.

These opportunities will be advertised by each teacher. Class Time is also recorded for students unable to attend live sessions. Global courses may require additional items to support learning activities. Any student-provided items required will be listed within the course. Some advanced high school courses may require an etext that will be provided.

Students taking FLVS Elementary courses will need a printer, paper, pencils, etc, and you will find the full list of items needed inside each course. Are proctored exams required? Proctored exams are not required by Global School. Although a proctored exam could be requested if an Academic Integrity violation exists for a student.

Do you offer refunds? Our goal is to make this process as easy as possible. A parent or guardian must email Global School at globalschool flvs. If the student is not currently active in a segment and we receive a request for withdrawal, a full refund will be given. Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of receipt. The refund will be applied back to the original form of payment. Please realize it can take several days for the refunded amount to appear in your account.

How many assignments are students required to submit per week? Students are typically required to submit a minimum of assignments per week in each course. Florida Virtual School prepares for 9, students this Fall. By: Jillian Ramos.
