Borderlands 2 is a good game, especially if you liked Borderlands. Looting baddies gives you better weapons and other bonus items and rewards. This world is generally more enticing to fight in compared to the previous game. There isn't much to complain about with Borderlands 2 , except for the odd graphical or audio glitch, but it hardly detracts from the overall experience. Fans of mature first-person shooters will no doubt enjoy running and gunning through this wild adventure.

Read this before you tell your kids no! My kid made me put this in here. Hello parents! I see you have come to see what other parents think of this game! I am a parent of a 14 year old son and a 12 year old daughter, and I am absolutely fine with both of them playing it.

Now yes I agree with you that it is a violent game, but there are many solutions to it! Primarily, just turn off gore! Easy enough to do, just go into the pause menu, settings, gameplay settings, and set "Censor gore" to yes. This will remove a majority of gore and blood, with the exception being the blood splatter on your screen, and the very slight blood from headshots, along with cutscenes which can get quite graphic Read below for list of graphic cutscenes.

There is no denying that you are killing things, but I put extreme emphasis on things, not once during this game did I feel like I was killing another human, it was more of strange humanoids called bandits, or robots, or just random beasts, the only thing remotely close to a human killing was the 2nd to last boss battle, in which you killed the antagonist of the story "Handsome Jack" but at that point, you really dont feel bad about killing him because he is a very mean person.

On the front of drinking, smoking, and drugs, there is almost none. The sniper Mordecai drinks a little bit, but that is only twice. The fighter brick smokes once, but that is also it.
