Aquarion who is solar wing

A most unlikely couple, yet a most predictable romance subplot that one could see coming from a mile away. And in keeping in Shoji Kawamori's style, a third party for a love triangle is introduced in the form of Silvia's older brother almost incestuous yes? Anyway, "Genesis of Aquarion" was meant to be an ambitious project for Kawamori and his creator owned studio "Satellite" but that ambition does not seem to show. The story is a mix of themes that have come before; a healthy dose of evangelion's quasi-religious ramblings, a dash of Escaflowne fantasy, obvious 70s "super robot" anime influences, the love triangles of Macross and narrative style of magic academy type anime.

Little has been done to mask the show's various influences and as such, any long time anime fan watching this would be constantly plagued by the feeling of "where have i seen that before? The story is rather unoriginal and only gets more confusing by the second half.

Clever references to the writings of Carl Jung and some metaphysical undertones, stuff that could have made this series feel a lot smarter, gets completely kicked in the nuts thanks to half baked, almost insulting, execution.

Shoji Kawamori is a smart man. Within the combination of the mecha lies the concept of a metaphysical unity of body, mind and soul. But instead of explaining this clearly, he chooses to portray this "bonding" as Thats right, as the three vectors insert parts of themselves into one another to combine into Aquarion, the pilots suddenly appear nude and go into throes of what can only be described as sexual ecstasy.

Just one example of how something clever gets ruined by bad taste brought about by the Japanese addiction to fan-service. Though the story of Genesis of Aquarion is a mess. It is at least a magnificent looking and beautiful sounding mess. Composer Yoko Kanno infuses the series with an epic orchestral score and otherworldly vocals, cementing her lofty reputation among the anime fandom. The voice casts too, both English and Japanese ones, maintain an excellent chemistry throughout, allowing the characters' contrasting personalities to shine and play off one another.

Both Japanese and English voice tracks are decently acted and on par with each other but neither are perfect; the Japanese voices do lapse into bouts of over-acting while the English script had minor changes here and there for better lip sync but at the cost of veering from the original dialog. Exploiting the ultimate weakness as punishment, the Earth's food supply begins to vanish and the populace is soon starving.

Perhaps the Shadow Angels have finally found a way to reclaim what they believe to be their own…. To become intimately familiar with their partners, the Aquarion recruits are commanded to dress and act like their counterparts.

While imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery, some of the outfits and portrayals are much less so. It's parlor tricks and easy laughs until the Elements begin to fully capture the spirit of their fellow pilots. Soon enough, raw feelings are exposed. Having seen themselves through another's eyes, the warriors can proceed to learn about themselves. In the end, one must defeat his shadow to have victory… Aquarion versus Aquarion, self versus self.

Elements are missing in action after an ominous break in contact while the rest of the team struggles in the midst of a heated battle. The vanished pilots wander in a strange land of twisted dreams, and the darkness contained in each soul soon swells up to challenge deeply held convictions within.

In the play of a child's cruel game, the losses and pain of 12, years become clear and understood. Betrayal and treason temper black moments of doubt, and bloodlines are questioned along with identity. Aquarion lays broken as Apollo and the others struggle to stay sane. The future of Aquarion is in danger unless the commander can reclaim what has been lost… One of the Vectors, swept away across dimensions in a flood of passion.

The recruit squad is already in shambles after the desertion of an admired team-mate, an apparent turn-coat called from Atlandia to join those that share his feathered blood. Toma tightens his grip on this new pupil, with a few paternal words putting the young prince at his beck and call.

A next generation Aquarion appears to join the fight, and the pilot is a real victim of the unending war. As tradition and dreams clash, one girl takes a stand. Only Apollo and his team can stave off the carnage. They must open the gates to Heaven and undertake a dangerous rescue mission. But it might already be too late…. The remaining members of the Aquarion team have broken through to Atlandia and prophecy is leaning towards the end of the world.

Souls are stirred awake as guns blaze across dimensions, and betrayal awaits. Silvia watches from captivity and a cloud of torn love as Sirius and Apollo meet in combat, heading once and for all toward their final destiny. The secrets of the Solar Wing are cast into the sun as revenge and fate mingle in a crimson haze.

The real meaning of unity is exposed in two halves of the same heart, darkness and light that together make a whole. The secrets of the Solar Wing have been revealed, with much blood lost in the battle between the Shadow Angels and their wingless rivals.

As Sirius rejoins his friends in the fight against their true enemy, the end of the world is rumbling, shaking the union of peace and sanity. Appollonius was a Shadow Angel before he fell in love with Celiane. He was murdered by Scorpius , but his soul was grafted into the Aquarion, earning him the title of Solar Wing. In the first episode, he was the one who taught Apollo how to Union, and would sometimes help him pilot the Aquarion. Apollonius has long, orange coloured hair and red eyes. In the OVAs, he is seen in a green outfit similar to Apollo's.

Not much is know about Apollonius, however Apollo describes him as a "man with huge wings" with "hair looked like fire or something". He describes his eyes as "frightening and sad". Though not much is know as to the events of this time, at some point humans lead a retaliation effort against the Angels for their own freedom.
