The videos flickering in Messages issue has been already fixed, as we reported a while ago. Regarding the Facebook freezing, yes this is still ongoing, but keep an eye on the App Store updates section.

Facebook has to release an update with a fix too. I just got a new 9th gen iPad. This is happening intermittently..
